An Easier Way to Pay and Manage Your Monthly Bill
Dumont Telephone will soon be launching a new billing and payment system. This upgrade will provide you with a more advanced, flexible, and comprehensive way to view, manage, and pay your bill.
As a user of the previous platform, we wanted to share how this change will affect the status of any current scheduled payments within the platform, as well as other changes you can expect during this transition. Please note that the legacy payment system will no longer be active after April 21, 2025, however your payment information and future scheduled payments have been automatically transferred to the new system.
We would ask all users to confirm their payment information is correct once the new system is live.

● What is changing?
Dumont Telephone is moving from its legacy system to the best-in-class electronic billing and payment solution offered by Paymentus. Included in this upgrade are new payment options, an updated 24-hour interactive voice response line, and adjustments to our credit and debit card offerings.
● What payment methods and payment options are available?
The following payment methods and options will be available within the new system:
● PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay digital wallets
● Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit and debit cards
● ACH/eCheck
● Set-it-and-forget-it AutoPay
● 24-hour interactive voice response (IVR)
Payments can also be made within the Customer Portal or as a one-time guest pay.
● When will the new system be implemented?
The Paymentus billing and payment system is scheduled to launch on April 22, 2025.
● Will there be an interruption of online bill payment services during the update?
Online bill pay will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m. April 21st – 3:00 p.m. April 22nd.
● If I am a pre-existing user of the former online payment system, will I need to re-register?
No, your information will automatically transfer to the new system. We do ask that all customers review their information once the new system is live to confirm that payment details, including AutoPay registrations, are accurate.
● How does Dumont Telephone ensure payments, payment information and personal information is secure?
